Temperatures

CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- Temperatures today have plunged back to around average for this time of year. Highs will stick in the mid and upper 50s across much of the area. Stiff NW winds will make it feel even colder, especially when the sun goes down. Not expecting any rain across the area today or even clouds for that matter.

Hourly

As we head through the evening, temperatures will drop quickly into the 40s as soon as the sun sets. The temperatures should continue to drop through Thursday morning into the mid 30s. Expecting winds to be gusty especially tomorrow morning so wind chill values will be in the 20s and 30s all day long. Time to get the heavy jackets back out!
