Carterville Ill. (WSIL) -- Starting out the day today chilly again in the 40s with a few of us seeing some upper 30s. We warmed up nicely though with temperatures getting back into the mid to upper 70s across the area again. We will also see a slight NE wind today making those temperatures with the lower humidity feel amazing.Â

The continued dry conditions with low relative humidity values will make for elevated fire weather conditions not only today but through Wednesday. Make sure to delay any burning activities till after this time period.Â
Tonight we will still remain chilly with lows tomorrow morning around 50 degrees for many. Over the next couple of days however, temperatures do look to increase back into the low 90s by Wednesday and lows in the mid 60s.Â
