CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) -- We are drying out after the latest rounds of storms pushed through our area and looking forward to a beautiful weekend ahead.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy conditions with temperatures in the 50s. Temps will continue to drop into the night hours, reaching mid 40s by midnight. Winds will also calm some, dropping down to a gentle breeze overnight.
Saturday will be the start of a beautiful weekend. We will first wake up to cool temperatures as it will look to be in the upper 30s for most locations. Skies will be clear though and winds very calm.Â
The mercury will continue to climb throughout the day, reaching highs in the lower to mid 60s. Winds will be calm and the sun will be shining, making it the perfect day to be outside to do some yardwork.
Sunday will be on the breezy side however. Temperatures will be amazing, starting out in the upper 40s at dawn and climb to the mid 70s by the afternoon hours. Winds, however, will be very breezy as we could reach gusts into the mid 20s. Temps will continue to the upper 70s by the evening hours and will stay in the 70s in the overnight hours.
Monday will bring the clouds back in and a small chance of rain. However, temps will be around the mid 60s waking up.
