Carterville (WSIL) -- Warm weather continues for Christmas, as we approach record high temperatures this afternoon. While most won't break records, temperatures will likely top out in the middle 60s later today. Dry weather is also expected today, with skies remaining partly cloudy to mostly sunny this afternoon.
Clouds build in overnight, setting us up for a warm start tomorrow. Expect highs in the middle 60s again for Thursday, and a small chance for morning showers.
Chief Meteorologist Jim Rasor is back with another look at your forecast tonight.
