(WSIL) -- Sunshine was a welcome sight Tuesday but it took a while to melt away the heavy frost from a very cold start. Temperatures will drop quickly at sunset but a steady south breeze tonight should keep us warmer than last night. South winds and sunshine will warm Wednesday even more with a chance of seeing 50 in the afternoon. Cold air will return before we get to the weekend and there is a chance of another light winter mixture of rain and snow late Thursday. I will have the latest forecast updates on News 3 WSIL.
