LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. -- State Police in Kentucky stated they have found a body near where a mass shooting happened in Laurel County, Kentucky.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Scott Pennington stated troopers located a body near the 49 exit of I-75 on Wednesday afternoon.
Trooper Pennington at 3:19 p.m. about the body found.
Detectives are working to confirm the identity of the body.
Authorities first reported a shooting took place along I-75 when several people were shot roughly one-and-a-half weeks ago near the area where they body was found at. Since that time, they have been looking for Joseph Couch who is a suspect in the incident.
