City of Puxico lifts boil water order days after massive fire destroys most of downtown

PUXICO, Mo. (WSIL) -- The boil water order issued in the City of Puxico has been lifted. 

The boil water order was put in place after a massive fire destroyed multiple buildings in the downtown area over the weekend.

Fire crews said they used approximately a million gallons of water to put out the flames. 300,000 of those gallons were from the city's supply, city officials said.
