Motorcycle vs deer crash causes serious injuries to driver

DONIPHAN, Mo. (WSIL) -- A 44-year-old was flown to a hospital with serious injuries after hitting a deer in the roadway on Monday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol stated the crash happened on June 23, at 8:30 p.m. along Missouri Highway 142, roughly nine miles west of Doniphan.

State police said a 44-year-old from Grayson, Kentucky, was driving a 2000 Harley Davidson going west when the vehicle hit a deer and crashed.

The driver was flown from the scene with serious injuries.

The Harley Davidson was considered totaled.
