ELDORADO, Ill. -- Thursday's powerful storms destroyed one family's home in Eldorado.Â
Michael Gulley spoke to WSIL about his home on Ridgway Road. Thankfully, his wife and children were safe thanks to the help of a stranger.Â
"This guy shows up asking if there was anybody in the house," said Gulley. "At that point, the doors had twisted to where my wife and kids couldn't get out of the house. Ultimately, that guy got them out of my house. I have no idea who he is. I would like to tell him thank you."Â
Gulley also thanks his church family and the community for the outpouring of support. People stopped by to drop-off cases of water and other supplies.Â
