PADUCAH, Ky. -- Police arrested a suspect in connection to two recent local shootings.

Officers arrested Lamarcus J. Holland, 21, of Wheeler Avenue, on Wednesday afternoon. The arrest occurred after the Paducah Police Department received multiple calls informing officers that Holland had been seen staying at a home in Paducah. Officials fact-checked the information and obtained a search warrant for the home.

The Paducah Police SWAT team executed the warrant on Wednesday afternoon. Officers arrested Holland without restraint. Officials say Holland admitted he had an involvement with the shooting he was accused of and another from March 11.

For the April 3 shooting, Holland faces charges of Wanton Endangerment, Criminal Mischief and No Operator's License. For the March 11 shooting, officers added 16 counts of First-Degree Wanton Endangerment.

Police brought Holland to the McCracken County Jail.

"We would like to thank all the community members that came forward and provided information that led to Holland's arrest," said the department in a release.
