Extremely pleasant week ahead

Rain chances

Carterville Ill. (WSIL) -- What a wonderful stretch of weather we have in store for this week. Today temperatures remain in the middle 80s for most and our humidity will begin dropping today. Expect a dry day and a partly cloudy sky but for the most part seeing a good amount of sun. A breeze from the north with also help in making the temperatures out there super comfortable. We will remain dry for a majority of the week but a new airmass is heading our way to change things up.

Muggy Meter

This northerly flow helps to bring lower dew points in the 40s and 50s across the area for the next several days. This will allow morning lows over the next several days to get in the middle 50s for us. So, if you are waking up early this week it may be a bit chilly. Afternoon highs look to remain in the upper 70s for Tuesday and Wednesday.

I hope you use the next week to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible because there does look to be more summer time heat returning by the weekend.
