The Chilly Fall Air has Arrived!

Temperatures

Carterville IL. (WSIL) -- Wow! What a refreshing airmass that settled into the area overnight. Dewpoints have crashed into the 40s and 50s across the area which allowed us to cool down into the mid 40s last night! Today we should get up around 70 degrees with full sunshine. The low humidity will make today one of the best days of the year!

Hourly

This airmass will sit over us for at least the next two days so as the sun goes down tonight expect another quick cool down. Jackets will be needed for the kids at the bus stop tomorrow as they were today! As for your morning commute we expect calm winds tonight which will allow for some fog development in some regions. Highest confidence in that fog would be the usual suspects in western Kentucky around the Paducah area. If you do encounter any fog just make sure to keep your low beams on and keep it slow!
