Carterville IL. (WSIL) -- A lovely day overall across the area. We are spending the afternoon much warmer than we have seen the past few days. Highs in the mid and even upper 80s for many spots today with a full compliment of sunshine. Humidity levels are creeping up a bit as well over the next couple of days but certainly nothing that is tremendously uncomfortable.聽
Tonight we will be dealing with temperatures cooling off but not as much as they have in the past with southerly flow taking over in the short term. Low temperatures get into the mid 60s and stay there through tomorrow morning. Tomorrow we deal with temperatures trying to reach 80 before a dry cold front moves through the area. Conditions will be more breezy like with the last front and then a drastic filtering of drier and cooler air comes in by the evening on Sunday.聽
