3 dead, 1 critically injured after crash in western Kentucky

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. � A highway was shut down for hours after a crash which resulted in multiple deaths in western Kentucky.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office first alerted the public of the crash affecting traffic at 8:20 p.m. Saturday night.

The incident happened along I-69 on the southbound side between KY 131 and US 45.

Five hours later, at 1:30 a.m., the sheriff’s office alerted the public that the roadway was back open.

Three people were reported dead in the crash with another critically injured and taken to an out-of-state hospital.

The identities of those in the crash have not been released at this time.
